CCL’s Chief Executive Officer, Andy Archibald, attended the Europol Interpol Cyber Crime Conference. An annual joint initiative hosted alternately by the European Cyber Crime Centre (EC3) in The Hague and by the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore. Attendees included law enforcement officials, private sector, academia, international organisations and other key entities from across the world, with the aim of strengthening cooperation on preventing and combating cyber crime.
Andy presented a key note speech discussing ‘Financial Cyber Crime: A view from both sides of the fence, lessons learned’. He discussed the threats associated with cyber-crime and how it can impact people and businesses, as well as touching on the intelligence and investigative opportunities. He later took an active part in the panel discussion for Financial Aspects of Cyber Crime.
